Beach holidays, the seaside, childhood memories, or even the modern version of deck chairs on astro turfed rooftops to watch a moonlight cinema screening…. the stripes still capture a feeling of relaxed happy times gone by.

Love that shot Chasquita!
Thanks Tina. I only just managed to take it before everyone sat down!
Oh, wow, this picture brought to me one special memory. In my country, In the mid and late 70’s, every universitary student owned one of this chair. You could see them in their room or in the trunk of their cars. Normaly, many grups of class mates, got together on Saturdsays, mainly in public squares, and spent hours and hours, paper and pencil in hand, studing and/or having fun. Of course, no internet, cyber points, wi-fi, not even computers available that time. It was just another age!
What a wonderful memory! I don’t think we will see many students today carrying a deck chair along with their laptop or ipad! Technology certainly has changed things.
A movie in the park, yes, very nostalgic. And those reclining chairs look very vintage to me.
Thanks, I am sure the movie playing was an oldie too!
